Are you a senior who is bored at home? Or have seniors at home who want to enrich their lives meaningfully? Come get to know others in the community to widen your social circle while taking part in fun-filled activities planned for you by our dedicated team!

Enjoy day trips and learning journeys to popular places such as Gardens By The Bay and admire nature’s wonders with fellow seniors!

Other than organising such activities, we also hold workshops to educate seniors in the community to help them upskill and learn about current trends and matters such as technology and how to avoid being scammed.

STORIES FROM THE COMMUNITY

A Beacon of Hope:
The Transformative Power

For years, volunteers of ACTC have faithfully enriched communities, their dedication a profound expression of compassion. Among the many lives touched, Mr Ong’s story stands as a poignant testament to their transformative care.

2023

Bringing Light to Mr  Ong’s Lonely Home

In 2023, volunteers of ACTC found Mr. Ong, a man in his 70s, isolated and often drunk in his neglected apartment. He lived alone in utter dejection and barely ate. Undeterred, ACTC visited weekly, providing food, companionship, and prayers. They they even held a Christmas and Chinese New Year celebration with him.

Early 2024

A Home Renewed, A Family Reconnected

Early 2024 brought a new challenge: Mr. Ong was diagnosed with cancer. During his hospitalization, ACTC connected with his estranged daughter, persuading her to allow them to clean and transform his apartment into a pleasant home.

August 2024

From Isolation to Transformation: A New Beginning for Mr. Ong

Upon his return in late August 2024, Mr. Ong’s outlook was profoundly changed. Touched by ACTC’s love, he received Christ and was baptized. He quit drinking, and his relationship with his daughter mended. His once-closed apartment became a vibrant hub, hosting neighbours and ACTC members for gatherings.

Jun 18th, 2025

A Journey Completed with Dignity and Grace

On June 18th, 2025, Mr. Ong was called home. ACTC felt privileged to have journeyed with him, bringing purpose, reconciliation, and companionship in his final months. Mr. Ong’s story powerfully reminds us that true charity restores dignity, fosters connection, and illuminates the path to a transformed life.
