Community and Social Support

Under this arm, we have an ongoing campaign named “Love Thy Neighbour”, which originates from the biblical directive in

Mark 12:31: “Love your neighbour as yourself.”  

Through this campaign, we aim to mobilise our volunteers and members to care for and love those around us with love and care, just like how God loves us. 

Love Thy Neighbour 

The campaign started off with monthly visits to Upper Boon Keng residents and has gradually branched out to include frequent events to engage more residents. 

Our efforts to befriend the residents have been met with overwhelmingly positive response as we reach out to the residents of various ages there. Although primarily comprising elderly, they have been very receptive to our visits and frequent events held that were held to engage them. 

Over the past few months, we have organised a Flea Market and spring cleaning exercises across the blocks. We look forward to continuing to engage the community and our members in reaching out to those in need and better their lives.
